• Jack Freestone's Tribong X Boardshorts

Tribong began in 1983 as Gordon Merchant’s vision of what a boardshort should look like. After countless sketches and testing the shorts in the waves of Burleigh and Angourie, Tribong was born. With a simplistic, refined style, Tribong embodies our fanatical collision of workmanship and style. It epitomizes the classic surf short.

For Fall 2017, we've put Jack Freestone in the new Tribong X boardshorts because one of the most progressive surfers in the world needs a boardshort that can keep up. Made with our premium PX3 stretch fabric, these are one of our lightest pairs of boardshorts and the Micro Repel Coating applied to the exterior of these keep them light while you're in the water and help you dry faster once you're out of the water. The classic black and white paneling makes sure the new Tribong X holds true to Gordon Merchant's original vision for combining design and function into one perfect pair of boardshorts.
