DIY: Gold Foil Pumpkins || Materials: 1. Craft Pumpkins 2. Mod Podge 3. Paintbrush 4. Gold Leaf Foil Sheet 5. Spray Paint (color of your choice)
The first step to creating this beautiful, fun & festive pumpkin is to spray paint it the color you desire. We recommend spraying two coats to ensure there is no orange color peaking through.
Then you are going to use the paint brush to apply Mod Podge glue to the desired gold leaf section of your pumpkin. While the paint is still wet, apply the gold leaf to your pumpkin.
Be generous with the gold leaf, as it will help to create a fun, lively texture to your pumpkin!
Gold leaf is perfect for adding a touch of embellishment and shine & will allow you to make bold statements with your pumpkins. Not only are they incredibly easy to make, but their glamorous shine will make them the perfect eye-catching accent to spruce up your home during fall and winter.
Because we can't get enough of this simple DIY pumpkin design, we chose to spray paint another pumpkin purple & repeat the process!
You can go about applying the gold leaf in any way you see fit, just be sure to paint the Pod Modge on in the desired areas of your pumpkin prior to placing the gold leaf flakes!
DIY: Glitter Pumpkin || Materials: 1. Craft Pumpkin 2. Color Glitter 3. Mod Podge 4. Paintbrush 3. Paper or Newspaper
Shake up your Halloween decor with these colorful glittered pumpkins.
First put down a layer of newspaper topped with a sheet of craft paper to protect the work surface.
Paint the desired glittered space of the pumpkin with Mod Podge.
While the glue is still wet, sprinkle glitter over the sticky surface of the pumpkin.
And it is that simple! Now you have a pumpkin that will sparkle and shine throughout the holidays.
DIY: Tissue Paper Covered Pumpkin || Materials: 1. Craft Pumpkin 2. Tissue Paper 3. Paint Brush 4. Mod Podge 5. Scissors
Paint a thick layer of Mod Podge onto the pumpkin. Make sure you have your tissue paper prepped & ready to attach to the glue while it is still wet.
So before applying the glue cut out the tissue paper into different sizes and colors of triangles. Once ready, stick the tissue paper triangles onto the pumpkin!
Continue this, arranging the pieces in different angle until you are satisfied with your pumpkin's look and feel. When you have covered the whole pumpkin, paint a layer over the top of the finished design. Let dry & enjoy your new, festive table piece!
DIY: Striped Glitter Pumpkin || 1. Craft Pumpkin 2. Color Glitter 3. Mod Podge 4. Paintbrush 3. Paper or Newspaper
Adding a little sparkle to your front porch or living room for fall couldn’t be easier thanks to this simple glitter pumpkin craft.
Follow the creases of the pumpkin with the paint brush to get even, straight lines once the glitter is applied. You can have as thin or thick of stripes as you wish. Add your own creativity and flare to your pumpkin!
It is crucial to have paper underneath your pumpkin when you are sprinkling the glitter so you do not waste the excess glitter but instead can funnel the glitter back into the container using the paper beneath.
The easiest, most cheerful DIY pumpkin design out there! It will leave you addicted to glitter and goggly eyed over your newest seasonal creation!
DIY: Pumpkin Floral Arrangements || 1. Real Pumpkin 2. Sharp Knife 3. Glove 4. Spray Paint 5. Mason Jar or Vase 6. Flowers
Because this pumpkin turns out so beautiful, we decided to make one exception to our no carve rule...
Cut the top off your pumpkin so that you have a fairly wide opening near the center of your pumpkin to fit your jar or vase.
Next, you'll want to put a glove on & start digging. Scoop out your pumpkin guts until the pumpkin is seedless and clean inside. If you are feeling extra fun & festive, throw those seeds in the over to roast and enjoy your warm snack while you DIY your pumpkin.
We wanted our pumpkin to have a more elevated, fairytale feel so we choose to spray paint the pumpkin white. You can totally do this task without being a paint master - just remember to stand out of the winds way and put two coats of white spray paint on your pumpkin!
Once you have conquered the seemingly daunting task of spray painting your pumpkin and it is dry, it is time to add the mason jar or vase into the center of your pumpkin. Fill the jar with water and place it inside the pumpkin!
Hand select your favorite florals and arrange them to your liking, then place them into the mason jar inside the pumpkin! Volià!
How festive and beautiful are these pumpkin floral arrangements? They’re such a nice shake up to the usual Halloween decor and pretty simple to make. Plus, you can even add character to your pumpkin by adding eyes, lashes or lips - you decide how you will bring personality to your pumpkin!
DIY: Gold Confetti Pumpkin || Materials: 1. Craft White Pumpkin 2. Japanese Gold Tape 3. Scissors
Cut up one inch pieces of Washi tape, then cut each piece in half length-wise to create these skinnier confetti-like pieces.
All that’s left is to peel off the backing of each piece and stick them onto the pumpkin.
We chose to make the confetti more concentrated at the bottom of the pumpkin, then thin out the placements as we moved up to make it look like the confetti is falling. It's that simple & easy - not to mention absolutely adorable and a seasonal favorite decoration.
