Brodi Sale is a 14 year old from Kona on the Big Island of Hawaii who is currently competing in youth comps around the world and after taking home a recent win at an event in Huntington Beach, making his claim to be the next big thing out of Hawaii. With a crew full of supporters that includes Billabong rider and living legend Shane Dorian, expect big things from Brodi in the near future. Get to know this grom a little better -

If you were an animal, what would you be and why?
A dolphin so I could still surf.

Surf all day long
Tell us your worst grom beating?
Probably like 3 or 4 years ago when Zeke Lau, Keanu Asing, Josh and Seth Moniz teamed up and threw me in the pool one night during Surfing America.
What scares you the most?
Would you rather go over the falls on a 30-foot wave or be leg kicked by Luke Rockhold?
Go over the falls on a 30 ft wave for sure.
What’s your best and worst quality?
Best: Being independent.
Worst: Public speaking
