Looking Back on the 2013 #BillabongPro Tahiti
The 2013 Billabong Pro Tahiti was an event that won't soon be forgotten. Teahupoo provided perfect 4-6 foot waves every day of the contest, offering an even playing field for the contestants who happily surfed barrel after barrel. And on the day the waves weren't good enough to contest, they were plenty good enough for a few shacks with the friends. Here's a gallery of photos from all around the event - Days 1 through 4, in the channel, in the water and on land.

This was a common site on Day 2 of the competition: someone getting barreled and lots of cameras watching.
