• Maui's Ian Gentil Joins the Billabong Team

"For a thirteen year old Maui grom, he's the best kid I have seen at that age - for sure." That was what 3-time world champ Andy Irons said about Ian Gentil almost 2 years ago. Billabong is proud to announce that Ian Picano Gentil has now joined the Billabong family as a team rider.

"We are beyond stoked on having Ian join the Billabong family," said Enich Harris, Billabong USA Marketing Director. "He is one of the most talented 14-yr-olds on the planet and we are excited to support him in reaching new performance levels and achieving all his future goals in surfing."Born in Palm Beach, Florida on Feb. 12, 1996, Ian is a true water baby, meaning he was literally born underwater in a bathtub at home.
